Just some feedback and recap on your first Term 3 assignment. As mentioned, the whole idea behind this excercise is for you to practise your drawings and generate ideas from artist references to aid you in your 'N' level coursework next year.
A few of you got the idea and were able to APPLY what I meant successful. Here's a showcase of some of the works that caught my attention.
Hong Lin did a good application on using the research and incorporating the idea of a mouth (from the artist reference) to create a new composition.
When I looked at Filzah's work, I liked how she incorporate two artists' references into her work. Sadly, I didn't see the hand in her research component.
The persistance of memory by Salvador Dali is a favourite piece for many students. Time just melt away. Shafiqah and Farhana were able to capture that melting clock with the hand gestures though there's still rooms for improvement in drawing the hands. :)

There is some beauty in this simple art work. I like how Vivian managed to incorporate a swan into the hand. Learning point- if you decide to do that for your coursework next year, remember to do some research drawing of swans or find an artist reference that morph objects together. good attempt nevertheless!
Shirley has some interesting ideas. Some childlike elements observed. :) There's a lot of potential in further developing these drawing ideas.
Filzah and Zah use the same hand posture to create interesting composition. Zah's work is interesting and Filzah's work has some quick humour in it. I like how the two little hands tried to floss the 2 front teeths.
